Brugnano Ammaru Zibibbo, Sicily 2022
12.5ALC
Zibibbo from Partinico, Palermo, Sicily, Italy is light bodied, mineral driven, and DRY; floral and oily with notes of quince, peach blossom, and honeysuckle, with medium plus acidity
and a long textural finish. Sustainable.
Andy Says: Zibibbo is the Sicilian name for Muscat of Alexandria, one of the oldest and most ancient varietals we have discovered. In fact, most grapes are related to Muscat of Alexandria if you trace their lineage back far enough. Unlike what you might think Muscat would taste like, this wine is DRY, with lovely spicy, fragrant, floral and fun Mediterranean fruit flavors.
