Sorbara? Lambrusco di Sorbara is a DOC for rosé and red sparkling wines in northern Italy's Emilia-Romagna region. It is situated north of Modena near the village of Sorbara, between the Secchia and Panaro rivers. Sorbara is regarded as the best of the various specified Lambrusco clones. It produces wines which are highly fragrant and floral, and the lightest in color of the five DOC wines. (The others are Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce, Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetra, Reggiano and Lambrusco di Modena).
