Chateau Coussin is the Sumeire family's flagship estate and sits at the foothills of the Sainte Victoire Mountains. The soils here contain ancient mountainous deposits of clay and limestone locally known as Puyloubier. Two-thousand-six-hundred years ago, the Ancient Greeks nurtured grapes on these same grounds. Le Rose de 'S' is a new vintage of an old favorite, and it is just as fresh and lovely as ever. Comprised of two traditional Cotes de Provence varietals, you will find plenty of bright red raspberry, candied and fresh strawberry, and watermelon notes in this blend. Pair with a Caesar salad with smoked salmon, Caprese salad, or shrimp ceviche.
Andy Says: "This fun, bright rosé presents flavors of melon, marshmallow and a light peachy-strawberry flavor and is from one of the largest 100% family-owned and operated wineries in south of France. Delicious, affordable and perfect for the increasingly cooler days of the end of summer."
