Chateau Teyssier “Lacroix” Bordeaux Rouge 2020

Andy Says: "When I think of a comfortable wine that takes me back, I drift to Cabernets and Merlots that brought most of us into the world of wine. This particular bottle comes from Bordeaux but it has that same familiar, comforting blend of Cabernet and Merlot character. "Lacroix" refers to the historic stone cross marking the entrance to the Teyssier Estate The wine is meant to showcase a classic fruit forward, approachable (comfortable) style of Merlot. Made primarily from Cabernet Franc with Cabernet Sauvignon added to provide structure, the wine presents flavors of black cherry, dark earth, leather, black pepper all wrapped in a plush velvety texture. This a wine that is quietly classy, approachable and enjoyable by most everyone.
