   This bottle, Cleto Chiarli Lambrusco di Sorbara Vecchia Modena showcases the unique characteristics of the Lambrusco di Sorbara grape, the most delicate and fragrant of the Lambrusco family. Cleto Chiarli, a winery dating back to 1860 and a pioneer in the production of quality Lambrusco from grapes grown in the heart of the Sorbara renowned for wines of exceptional quality.

   Bright, ruby red color with a fine persistent froth in glass. On the nose, a vibrant bouquet of violets and red berries, characteristic of the Sorbara grape, with hints of cherry and a subtle earthiness that adds depth and complexity. The palate has a lively acidity and a light to medium body delivering flavors of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and a touch of citrus zest. The finish is clean, DRY, and tart, making this Lambrusco an excellent choice for cured meats, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and pasta dishes like tortellini in brodo, as well as with seafood and lighter fare.

Andy Says: "I visited this winery last year. This wine is Sorbara* Lambrusco which means it is a little darker in color and heavier in flavor." Andy says he was served Tortellini at the winery.
