Andy Says: "We have been recommending Garzon Tannat since before it was cool - for nearly a decade. In fact, we were almost disappointed when this bottle landed on the Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines a few years back, we knew the secret was out! Fortunately, the price never skyrocketed as so often happens once a wine is discovered. Uruguay, just north of Argentina, has a surprisingly similar climate. The result is a Tannat that is both approachable and elegant with flavors of plum, black fruit, spice, violets and a touch of earth. Enjoy solo or with game meats and hearty vegetarian dishes."
