Greenwing Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2024

Andy Says: "A quality Willamette Valley Pinot Noir under $20. I didn't think those even existed! When I asked the Distributor how that was possible, he said: "It's that Duckhorn money." Greenwing is the Oregon project founded by the late Dan Duckhorn, whose larger portfolio allows for serious quality at an approachable price.
  I had the pleasure to serve him dinner a few decades ago. He was a character! (OK. This part of the write up intrigued me so I asked Andy to tell me more.) And Andy said: Dan asked me to bring bottles of "my wine" to all the other diners. Good man. I love that.)
  This Pinot Noir shows classic Willamette flavor: black raspberry, cherry and cranberry with warm baking spice. Polished, balanced and wildly affordable for the region."
