Andy Said: "OK, if ever a wine exemplified the phrase "to be rather than to seem," this might be it. The wine is natural, fruit forward and, when tasted, appeals to most people. But, the label on the bottle belies the contents, looking like what might happen if you gave a box of crayons to a parakeet that had gotten into a stash of magic mushrooms! Seriously, the label could not be worse or a worse representation of the quality in the bottle.

   Made from 70% Carignan  and 30% Grenache, bio-dynamically farmed in Montsant, the mountainous region that wraps around the Priorat. This full bodied wine presents flavors of plum, black cherry, tobacco, all spice and blueberry pie. Just the right amount of acid keeps all that ripe fruit lively rather than falling heavy. In other words, this bottle will be rather than to just seem!"
