The wine shows all the fruit and texture you expect from Southern Italy, balanced by enough freshness to keep it lively. The limestone rich soils even contribute a lovely mineral character. Expect flavors of white peach, apple, citrus, tropical fruit, beeswax and a chalky minerality. Pairing this Fiano with richer seafood including grouper and sea bass is sublime but, the truth is, Masseria goes with just about anything."
