 Brut Imperial is assembled from a 100-plus base wines drawn from across Champagne, plus reserve wines from earlier years to hold the house style steady bottle after bottle. Pinot Noir supplies the body, Meunier the roundness, Chardonnay the lift. The color is an elegant golden straw yellow with amber highlights. Its aromas are radiant, revealing bright yellow-fleshed fruits (apple, pear, yellow peach), honey, floral nuances (lime blossom) and elegant blond notes (brioche and fresh nuts).
