Andy Says: "The Louis Dressner Portfolio is finally making its way back into North Carolina and one of the first arrivals is this lighter, fresher take on Chinon from a true Loire legend. Made from Cabernet Franc grown in sandier soils and with a shorter maceration, this is classic vin de soif, that is, light, gulpable and very amendable to a slight chill. Expect tart cherries, red berries, a touch of earth and a hint of mint. Cheerful and energetic, this wine is a red made for warmer days."
