Andy Says: "It's understandable if you have not tried Paul D. We brought this bottle in last year and it lasted a month on shelf before the distributor ran out of the vintage. In that short amount of time, Paul D developed quite a customer following. Produced from organically farmed vineyards in Wagram, Austria, this Grüner offers far more complexity than and I expect from a relatively inexpensive bottle. Alongside the classic flavors of lime, citrus, pineapple and white peach, there's a distinctly mineral character with hints of smoky gunflint. I was genuinely surprised by the quality. Pair Paul D with fried foods, shellfish, pork dishes.
