Pitti is the entry level red from renowned natural-wine producer Pittnauer, made from Austria's two signature red grapes:Z weigelt and Blaufränkisch.
Pittnauer takes sustainability seriously. The estate is certified organic and biodynamic, relies on spontaneous fermentation, uses minimal sulfur and follows a low- intervention philosophy throughout the cellar. They operate with a "deep living wine ethos" and view operating organically as the minimum standard for their winemaking and growing.
Pitti shows flavors of tart cherry, cranberry, black pepper, blackcurrant, leather and spice. It's an extremely versatile food wine, pairing beautifully with game meats, mushrooms and charcuterie."
