The Chenin Blanc grape draws nourishment from tufa, under the limestone soil of the region. This late-ripening grape is harvested in mid-October when ripe. A low temperature fermentation is carried out to preserve the aromatic potential. Beautiful pale yellow color. The nose reveals intense notes of citrus and white fruits. The palate is lively and fresh and smooth.
Andy and Bridget both say: This is a lovely richer style of Chenin Blanc. Bridget paired Domaine Saint Lander with white fish, orzo and walnuts with lemon zest, sautéed mushrooms and spring onions.
