Andy Says: "Any Parisian Bistro might presentt you with this low alcohol Vin Rouge. My Mom called me the other day just to tell me how much she enjoyed the bottle of Mon P'tit Camion that I included in a case I put together for her.
Vignoble Simian is a 5th generation , bio-dynamically farmed estate in Southern Rhône. You might remember their 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Réserve which I recommended as a Father's Day splurge earlier this year. Fortunately, Simian also produces affordable wines as well. Mon P'tit Camion means "my little truck" and refers to the vintage Peugeot Q3A light utilty truck, a WWII era model which is still in use on the property today.
Expect flavors of plum, black cherry, dark berries, French herbs, a touch of leathery earth and just a hint of unfermented grape juice. Whether you are sitting in a Parisian Bistro or enjoying dinner at home, this is the sort of unpretentious red that make a meal a memory. Serve it with just about anything." Also, highly recommended to partner with Lupin!
