Andy Says: "Silvaner is a grape varietal most of us have had but few of us know it. Known as "poor man's Riesling," it is typically the base for many German blends. This bottle is from a small father-and-daughter estate in Rheinhessen with more than 300 years of family winemaking history farming with a strong commitment to sustainability. This DRY Silvaner is soft, refreshing, with flavors of pear, citrus, green apple and white peach. It's an easy match for seafood and vegetables with enough fresh acidity to work beautifully alongside food as well."
